Synopsis: Set during World War I the film follows Sergeant Michael Dunne who, after being wounded in battle, returns home to Calgary and forms a bond with a nurse and her younger brother. Feeling duty bound he rejoins his unit and leads them into the brutal Battle of Passchendaele in Belgium.
